reading list

I have always found myself subscribing to education-related topics in my news apps to keep myself abreast of novel educational research, changing state and federal policies, as well as approaches to education, finance, and administrative affairs in schools. I’ve found that working to understand these key aspects continually refreshes my insights, which has always helped me to address challenges, implement positive changes, and support the academic success and well-being of the students that I’ve encountered throughout my career.

As a parent and as a higher education administrator, I have consistently worked to explore a diverse range of perspectives within the Mount Morris School District, my community, my professional spheres, as well as from the State and Federal Boards of Education to foster a comprehensive understanding of the issues at hand. I’ve always believed that these efforts help me to make well-rounded decisions that are considerate of the various needs that children and their families may face.

I’ve added some headlines that have caught my eye in recent weeks, and I hope to update this list often. I’m always excited to learn and discuss, so please feel free to send along a great article or book recommendation that you may have!
