GOALS
-
By linking students to pre-college summer programs at local colleges and universities as well as providing resources to better understand college admissions and financial aid processes, our students can gain confidence in the career path that they choose after high school graduation.
-
STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) programs and clubs provide a stimulating environment where kids and teens can develop real-world skills in topics like animal care, robotics, and engineering. STEM programs can teach Mount Morris students how to develop code that powers the digital world or cultivate communication and collaboration skills. Imagine what our children could accomplish if they realized that their dreams to be a rocket scientist or marine biologist are truly attainable.
-
Whether through recreational, social, or educational events, enrichment can improve the overall physical, mental, and emotional health of children and teens. By providing access to trips to local parks, museums, zoos, galleries, and sports facilities, Mount Morris students can experience and learn new things in a less structured environment than they might during school hours. Fundraising from grants or donor funds can help to ensure access to all children and families.
